Hello! Long time no blog! I’ve been organizing my old “Lessons from Litha” blogs that I posted exclusively for our Patrons on our Patreon last year as I begin to get ideas for my next book. Some of these entries are really interesting to read a whole year later. I thought I’d start re-blogging these and add my current thoughts for everyone to read:
“As you all know, the world came to a screeching halt in March, and we became “stuck” in Panama, having nowhere to go, all boarders of surrounding countries completely closed around us. It gave me time to pause and think, and (most importantly) offer support as I realized that everyone I knew was unexpectedly thrown into a lifestyle similar to our own.
For my family, very little changed. I mean, our ability to travel stopped, and we were forced to spend extra money at a marina instead of anchoring, but other than that, we went about our days somewhat normal…
I already live with my family 24/7 (in a very small space I might add!),
I already homeschooled my kids,
I already worked online and through zoom (also trying to keep the kids quiet in the other room!),
I already stocked up on groceries for months, and I was already very used to not finding the ingredients and items I was hoping for.
We even already cut our own hair!
With this knowledge in mind, I was thinking about how most lives will probably never go back to normal… and that during this huge pause, most people would be open and okay with that. In my business (Seeing from the Sea) I’m known as a “Personal Navigator” for my clients. I already help people who are feeling stuck and looking for a change… clearing energetic blocks and offering intuitive direction. All of a sudden, the whole world is “stuck” together, and the insights I have living on Litha, would help people in an even more profound way than before.
At the end of March, I was asked to teach an online workshop for a special-to-me tribe called Souldust. After telling stories about my life aboard Litha, and laughing and crying about Covid, I led a chakra balancing meditation and pulled some cards. It was healing for them, and me. This image is the last card I pulled that day from a funny, light deck called “Affirnators!” Read it! Wild, right? Everything happens for a reason!
Soon after, we became “unstuck” and sailed from Panama to the Dry Tortugas in Florida. 10 days at sea, and 18 days anchored near that small island without being able to go to shore, and having no contact with the outside world besides a satellite phone.
I now encourage you to unplug. I know I talked about getting out in nature during my last lesson, but even if you’re still safe and snuggled up at home, unplug from the internet, sit still and think about what you love about your current life. Embrace change. Maybe these things you feel are inspiration of a lifestyle a little like mine.
Much love and stay healthy! ❤️”
So, I decided to pull a card today from the same deck and here’s today’s message:
I mean, I don’t know about you, but this feels super good. I feel like we’ve all embraced change now that we’re over a year into the pandemic, and that only good things are coming from here on out! If you feel that you need help figuring out which gift to unwrap and what changes to embrace, join our crew and/or see me for a reading!
