Public Events (that feel Private) in the Heart of the Witch City
Salem, Massachusetts is known for its rich history, ghost stories, and paranormal energy, and I absolutely love living here.
Hey, I’m Kim. In 2010, I founded Paranormal Salem, the city’s original ghost hunting tour company, back when nobody else in town was doing it. Fifteen plus years and hundreds of investigations later, I’m also a professional astrologer and published author, trained in mediumship and intuitive work (including a course in San Diego with renowned medium James Van Praagh), with a background teaching Paranormal Studies at North Shore Community College. I’ve been doing this a long time. Ask me anything, I probably have a good story about it.
Downtown Salem has gotten louder and busier every year, so I moved my events indoors, small, and personal. Come hang out with me for an evening. Both of these experiences are intimate, tucked away in my quiet healing space while all the touristy chaos happens outside. They’re designed to feel welcoming whether you’re brand new to this world or already have a few ghost stories of your own. I offer them on select Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year and every night in October. Spots are limited so booking ahead is a good idea.
A Spirited Evening Connecting With The Other Side
An intimate Salem workshop bridging intuitive mediumship and modern paranormal investigation.
This 90-minute workshop has been hosted at venues like The House of the Seven Gables, Old Sturbridge Village, and many more. Now I offer it right here in my cozy Salem space for just 12 people at a time, which is my favorite way to do it.
The evening weaves together Salem history, the tools and techniques of ghost hunting, and the intuitive foundations of mediumship through education, storytelling, and guided experiential practice. Through slides, personal photographs, and real EVPs collected during past investigations, I’ll share some of the moments that reshaped my understanding of the unseen.
You’ll learn how tools like K2 meters and spirit boxes are used, explore signs, symbols, and the “clairs,” and take part in guided intuitive exercises to help you connect with your own loved ones. The evening closes with a small-group spirit communication circle using investigative tools in a protected, respectful way.
Each guest receives a pendulum to take home and a signed copy of one of my books: Ghost Stories & Hippie Sh*t or Sea of Colors: A Voyage Through the Chakras.

Astral Traveler’s Tour
A cozy indoor journey through Salem’s history.
Experience Salem’s history and hauntings from the comfort of my cozy, healing space. This sit-down, workshop-style tour uses slides to walk you through historic locations alongside ghost stories, paranormal photos, and tales collected over years of investigating Salem. We’ll cover everything from the Witch Trials of 1692 to local legends and modern ghost lore, with plenty of stories you won’t find in any guidebook. It’s the full Salem experience without the sore feet, the crowds, or whatever the weather is doing outside. Intimate by design, seating is limited to 12 guests.

Important update for October 2026: A Spirited Evening has been completely selling out and the Astral Travelers Tour seems to be less popular. On the days that A Spirited Evening is sold out at 7pm, and there are no tickets sold for the 5pm Astral Travelers Tour, I’m going to cancel the Astral Travelers Tour and offer A Spirited Evening twice. So there will be one at 5pm and 7pm.

After Hours Ghost Hunt at Gallows Hill Theatre
Join me at Gallows Hill Theatre for a real, hands-on indoor paranormal investigation. The event includes instruction on paranormal history, activity, communication, mediumship, and protection. Guests are armed with various ghost-detecting equipment such as EMF detectors, infrared thermometers, audio recorders and more, and then participate in a hands-on indoor investigation, underground in haunted Salem.
